Boats are vehicles used to be transported to other realms. No need to reveal the turquoise waters and the rich green mountains because all I need to do is to keep my eyes open and enjoy. The boats are smoothly moving through the turquoise and yet the shadows they leave behind are the images I want to make.
I want to express the shadow parts of this. This meaning the letting go of all that I carried here that I don’t want any longer…this meaning the years of difficult lessons and unnecessary activity…this meaning the desire to exist in a new way with a new perspective…this meaning digging beneath the obvious and touching the obscure, the portal to a new place.
