The foreground had to go, it was just too ordinary and predictable and…certain. Nothing I had created in the scene was working. Characters came and left so I stepped up and eliminated the comfortable landscape.  Blue came in softly at first, gradually exhibiting a solid sense of freedom.
The noise in the head is lit with the awareness of chatter, yet the character remains calm and reflective as seen in the water below. The Rooster shows up to announce the dawn of the new day, a reminder of the choices that are always right in front of you.
