Welcome everyone to the January 2024 Workshop. These will be my last two small workshops for the year. I have a few more larger classes in the fall out of the country to be announced in January. These current smaller classes would be a wonderful precursor to the week long workshops coming in later in the year. I love the idea of having a small group of students and spending the month playing with a new process. I want this to be geared towards everyone’s individual needs, which we will each discuss privately before our first group meeting.
You may use the iPhone or any camera. The apps we use are Superimpose X and Procreate. If you know layering in Photoshop that is fine as well. The goal is to provide you with exercises that push you further into the creative process. As you experiment with different exercises, you will begin to integrate a new sense of awareness into your work. It opens the door to the creative spirit and the intuition and the more in touch you are with your intuition, the more magical your work will be. It’s important to take risks. You must do the work solely for yourself and your own joy. It takes courage to step out of your familiar way of working and to stop listening to that left, analytical mind, that is until the very end. Learning to remain playful and free and trust your intuition is the goal of this workshop.
We are a group of six. I have a few spots left in the Jan 5, 9:00-11:00 am MT for four weeks. You will have a private session as well prior to beginning and have access to me the entire month. I’ll send out group assignments and individual assignments which you can begin anytime, before or after the first class is fine.
