Creating success, the Queen enters her inner temple. Persistence bears fruit. Using great sacrificial animals brings good fortune. It’s important to have a direction to go as we collect ourselves and integrate our many roles and strengths. Align your efforts with your purpose and a clear-sighted direction. This is necessary to know where you are going. Gathering means assembling…then returning to our source and not coming back to the old self.

First I always create an image without any thought about its meaning. I’ve been looking for a new direction in my life and my art so why not start with art. Inspired by some AI imagery, I began to try to mimic it’s atmosphere which is unique and often recognizable. BUT I’m not using AI, just my usual apps and my own photographs on the iPad. Through this process, the above image evolved. I then (as I did with my book A Small Amount of Courage) go to the iChing to help me understand the image.
