As an artist, tapping into  your own creative spirit is, first and foremost, a matter of developing awareness.  This inner awareness allows you to quiet the senses and allows the unconscious to reveal rich imagery.

As Rainer Maria Rilke expressed so beautifully in Letters to a Young Poet “describe your sorrows and desires, the thoughts that pass through your mind and your belief in some kind of beauty – describe all these with heartfelt, silent, humble sincerity and, when you express yourself, use the things around you, the images from your dreams and the objects that you remember.” It requires a small amount of courage to reveal such intimacy.

Next year, I will be offering a beginning class for those who want to learn the process I use, however you must be familiar with basics of Procreate and possibly Superimpose X (or you may use Photoshop). I will also be offering an advanced class for those who have studied with me or for those who know the apps of Procreate, Superimpose X and/or Photoshop and are compositing work already. Class size is limited to 6-7 each. It will include 6 classes, each 2 hours. Included is a private 30 min individual session prior to beginning.  You will also have access to me during the week to share your work.  More info and pricing to come.
