Limitations

Limitations are important and through the “workshop” experience, we limit our choices of tools in order to develop the creative mind, the spirit.  We want to use it as a meditation as if we are sitting, relaxed and observing the breath, moving through our images, making intuitive choices about placement and content.  We know great images are not a result of how many apps one uses or the camera.

To become really good at something requires practice and repeated effort.  Developing a finely honed technique – or a well tuned awareness takes time.  Once the technique is mastered it can and must then be transcended for growth to continue.

Creating art is an opportunity to listen to the thoughts and stories we tell ourselves as we learn to navigate towards the sublime…remember…practice makes perfect.  Be quiet and still and kind to yourself.H.KD1
